Facial balancing FAQs

Who is a good candidate?

1

Our Facial balancing treatments are ideal for patients who want harmonized, natural-looking enhancement rather than focusing on a single feature. Candidates may want to improve areas such as the chin, jawline, cheeks, or lips to bring the entire face into proportion.

Why should I balance more than one area of the face?

2

Facial balancing is a strategic treatment across multiple areas of the face that creates natural, balanced results. This treatment focuses on identifying and replacing lost volume, correcting asymmetries, and improving the overall shape and contour of the face.

Does facial filler migrate?

3

With proper technique and appropriate placement, filler should remain stable in the tissue. Migration is uncommon when treatments are done conservatively and spaced appropriately.

How long does filler last?

4

Most facial fillers last 12–24 months, depending on the area treated, product used, and individual metabolism of the patient.

How do I maintain my results?

5

Most patients maintain their results with consistent medical grade skincare use (including daily use of sunscreen), collagen stimulators, and skin treatments such as SkinPen®. Space treatments appropriately to help maintain the best long-term outcome, ideally 12-18 months.

What should I expect as far as downtime?

6

Most patients experience minimal downtime. Mild swelling or bruising may occur for several days. Most patients return to normal activities immediately, activities such as high intensity workouts, hot saunas, and suntanning should be avoided for up to one week.

How many syringes will I need for Facial Balancing?

7

Our Facial Balancing treatments are commonly performed in 3–4 syringe packages. This creates natural, proportional results across multiple areas of the face where small amounts of filler are strategically placed to improve overall harmony in areas like the cheeks, chin, lips, and jawline.
